A few weeks back, I wrote on the brilliance of the Adi Dassler mini-film 180 Amsterdam created for Adidas. Well, they’re churning out stuff left and right, and it’s all pretty impressive. Possibly my favorite of the new Adidas stuff I’ve seen is this “Original Games” viral.
Just awesome. Concept isn’t anything new, but the way it’s executed and the feel of it is perfect. Awesome soundtrack helps a bit too. And I’m happy that the Adidas logo pops up at the beginning - I’m starting to get tired of “viral” feeling videos going completely unbranded. It’s Adidas after all - not some tiny boutique. The more Adidas (& 180 Amsterdam) stuff I see, the more I want to go buy a few more pairs of Adidas.

Yeah, I’m getting sick of the strictly viral stuff too. This one was done well. Other than the Adidas logo at the beginning, the video is virtually unbranded (other than the occasional closeup on the Adidas triple-stripe track jacket), so it’s almost a flip-flop of the usual viral mini-film.
