Superman, the Pentax K20D, and a simple idea

I love this ad from TBWA\Hunt\Lascaris, Johannesburg, South Africa, for several reasons. First, it’s for a camera, and I’m a camera tech nerd, so any camera ad scores a few points in my book. Most important though is that it’s simple. I’m big on simple ideas right now… and this ad shows why simple can be perfect.

Sure, the Pentax K20D has billions of features, but I don’t need it all in an ad. One strength works just fine for me. And makes a bigger impact in the end. From now on, I’ll probably think of 8 frames per second when I hear K20D. And that’s better than most other cameras out there.
