Just came across this interesting outdoor for Quiksilver, done by Saatchi & Saatchi, Denmark, following closely in the wake (no pun intended) of the Viral Spot for the same client. Once again, an interesting use of media, and an interesting way to send the message to the target, without hitting them over the head with a brand essence video or anything like that. It’s simple, it speaks directly to the skater, and it’s still fairly branded.
If only stuff like this would come close to being acceptable in the US. The anti-skater/anti-punk/anti-anti atmosphere would make something like this out of the question – or so I’d imagine (if I’m wrong, prove me so). Either way, awesome outdoor billboards and bus shelters with a twist – not the traditional stuff you see every day.
